"Hoshijio-Star Salt" from Ishigaki Island

 

    Ishigaki Island was born a long time ago.

"Hoshijio-Star Salt" is made only from the coral reefs of this island ,

Okinawan sun-dried salt

Tenpi means the sun or the light of the sun. Drying seafood by exposing it to direct sunlight is called sun drying.

Similarly, sun-dried salt is made by exposing seawater to the dazzling light and heat of Okinawa's sunshine and evaporating the water.

Hoshijio-Star Salt is made by drying seawater from Shiraho Beach on Ishigaki Island in Okinawa, which is surrounded by natural coral reefs.
